I'm seeking to solve the problem of Sexual Assault survivors navigating the healing process alone. Many survivors never share their experience or are met with guilt, shame, and disbelief when they do. After creating my ecosystem map I observed that most help for survivors is in the area of "self help". While there are relationships that survivors can lean on for support (in the interpersonal section) that doesn't mean that those relationships are supportive or positive. I would like to focus on that interpersonal area and understand how to make it less painful and more supportive.
